Patients on regular medication will require repeat prescriptions. Your doctor will enter onto the computer what medication you are taking and each time a new prescription is printed a new request form is also generated for you to make your next request along with the review date.
Tick which items you require on the request slip. Your prescription will be available from reception 48 hours after submission unless you inform us to send it to a pharmacy of your choice.
If you require your prescription to be posted, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope and allow 7 days.
If you have more than one repeat prescription please try and order all your items together.
Online Ordering Via SystmOnline
You can also request repeat prescriptions on-line with SystmOnline via the link at the top of this page. You can request a password from surgery to allow you to access the link, please bring a driving license or passport as proof of identity to reception.

Requests for repeat prescriptions are not taken over the telephone, for medico-legal reasons, as errors can occur in verbal communication.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Acute Medication & Hospital Discharge Medication
Any medication that is not a part of your regular repeat prescriptions take slightly longer to process. This is mainly due to your Doctor having to check that the dose and strength is suitable for your needs. Therefore, please could you allow up to 7 working days for us to process these requests.
Hospital Discharge Medication
If you're discharged from another service with medication, please allow us up to 14 working days to process these requests. There can often be a delay with hospital correspondence reaching us, and during this time medication doses and strengths can change; therefore please allow us the time to ensure we have the most up to date copy of your discharge medication.
